My stay at Siam Center Hotel was quite disappointing. While the price was low compared to other nearby options, the overall experience left much to be desired. The location was convenient, but the facilities and service did not meet my expectations. If I had other choices during my travels, I wouldn't return here.

Rooms
5.0
The room was fairly clean but completely worn down and dark. The towels were old and had stains, and the bath tub felt outdated and corroded.
Service
5.0
The reception staff had a mixed demeanor. While one staff member was friendly, others were giggling in Thai and an inappropriate comment about 'girls' really put me off.
Location
6.0
Situated between Penang and Krabi, the hotel's location was advantageous but the surrounding city was quite lackluster, mostly grey buildings with little greenery.
Dining
5.0
I found the breakfast to be disgusting and had to pay for it separately, which added to my disappointment with the stay.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel has no free Wi-Fi, only offering a limited amount for a fee, and the overall feel was outdated and in need of renovation.

I stayed at Siam Center Hotel during a busy weekend in June, and while the hotel showed its age, I found the mattress surprisingly comfortable. The lack of free Wi-Fi and dated facilities were drawbacks, but the overall experience was decent for the price I paid.

Rooms
5.0
The room was surprisingly clean but showed signs of aging, with dark, worn-out furniture and a bathroom that was less than ideal. The mattress was the highlight—so soft that it felt like I was sinking into it.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and attentive. They quickly addressed issues like a partially stocked mini bar and even helped with our luggage. Their genuine concern for our next destination truly made a positive impact on my stay.
Location

Located conveniently near the train station and Lee Gardens, the hotel is in a great spot for accessing halal food options and other amenities. It's an ideal starting point for travels between Penang and Krabi.
Dining
6.0
While I didn’t eat at the hotel, I appreciated the proximity to various dining options nearby, particularly halal restaurants, which made it easier for me.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were quite basic and lacking modern amenities like free Wi-Fi, which is pretty typical for hotels at this level. The elevator and some shared areas felt rundown, which reflects the hotel's older status.

I spent three days at the Siam Center Hotel before heading to Pattaya. The breakfast impressed me with its wide variety. the tour representative was helpful too. However, the decor felt quite dated, and some guests made my wife uncomfortable during breakfast. overall, while it had its charm, it could certainly use some modernization.

Rooms
5.0
The room was aged and worn out, with some unsettling aspects in the bathroom. but the mattress was incredibly soft, almost enveloping me. The TV and air conditioning worked fine, though the mini-bar wasn't fully stocked when I arrived.

The facilities felt old. the elevator buttons were in poor shape and the overall ambiance could use a refresh.

I recently stayed at Siam Center Hotel in Hat Yai, and while the location was highly convenient, my overall experience was mixed. The hotel is a bit dated, with worn-down rooms that could benefit from renovations. However, the staff were friendly and attentive, which made my stay more pleasant. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the room, but some amenities definitely need updating. 😊

My stay at Siam Center Hotel was a mix of comfort and disappointment. The location was super convenient for my trip between Penang and Krabi, and the mattress was the softest I've ever laid on. However, the hotel itself felt extremely outdated, and I encountered a few uncomfortable moments with staff that dampened my experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room was dark and outdated, with yellowed switches and a bathroom that made me uneasy. The mattress was super soft, but the overall condition of the furnishings was a letdown.
Service

Some staff members were friendly, but I had an uncomfortable experience with one employee at check-in who asked me if I wanted a 'girl'. The staff at checkout were nicer, wishing me a great trip which I appreciated.
